Theme Days

Experience our colorful stage program for Seniors' Day. In addition to a great fashion show and lively dance performances, you will experience traditional music and exciting lectures.

The Animal Theme Day on the Tuesday of the fair is dedicated specifically to the animals at the fair - a special opportunity for all those who want to delve even deeper into the world of animals.

You can also bring your favourite dog to the fair. Please do not forget to bring a valid vaccination card.

Our popular collector's item - the iconic shopping bag for our trade fair - will be available at the entrance while stocks last.

This day is all about the skilled trades. In Hall 5, you can look forward to great activities to mark the 25th anniversary of the mitteldeutsche handwerksmesse - including a raffle with great prizes from our exhibitors and Leipziger Messe, a campaign to celebrate the 60th birthday of the Messemännchen and a coloring activity for the little ones. You can also listen to exciting presentations on craft-related topics on our stage in Hall 5.

On our Children's Day, the little ones take centre stage and experience unforgettable adventures - with exciting activities, interactive experiences and numerous surprises. You can look forward to balloon art, fascinating magic shows (11.00-11.30 and 14.00-14.30) and an enchanting dance group with children on and around the large stage in Hall 5. A meeting with the Messemännchen, Bulli (RB Leipzig), Poldi and many other mascots will make children's eyes light up and the toothbrushing crocodile will also be on hand to show young guests how to brush their teeth properly while having fun - from 13:00 to 13:45 on stand A28 in hall 5. There will also be lots of exciting things to experience and test throughout the day with the Halle Chamber of Crafts... from VR glasses to a robot football team (stage Hall 5).
